iTunes to go to the cloud with Safari?

First of all, let’s talk about Safari. What is Safari? Safari is a web browser. It is designed to remove the majority of distractions by having a browser frame that is a single pixel wide. The scroll bar appears only when needed. Safari works on iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, Mac, and PC. Safari Reader removes distractions such as ads and helps you focus on the online articles you want to read. Safari also has Private Browsing, which makes it so Safari does not remember information such as your history and cookies.

Now let’s talk about iTunes. What is iTunes? iTunes is a free application that runs on Mac and PC. It organized your music and movies into a library. iTunes can play your music, movies, videos, and TV shows on your Mac or PC. iTunes also has the iTunes Stores, a marketplace that sells music, videos, movies, and TV shows for you to download for a cheap price. iTunes also makes it easy to sync your music and videos onto your iPod, iPad, and iPhone. iTunes can also wirelessly sync your iTunes library to your Apple TV.

There have been rumors that iTunes is going to the Cloud with Safari. Apple may be preparing to merge Safari and iTunes. In December 2009, Apple bought the company Lala for $80 million. Using the technology from Lala, Apple will be able to incorporate iTunes into Safari and permanently make iTunes a web-only application that is exclusive to Safari. If this happens, Safari will most likely become a more popular web browser.

If iTunes goes to the cloud, there will be advantages and disadvantages. The advantage of iTunes going to the cloud is that you will be able to access your whole entire library from anywhere where you have access to the internet. The disadvantage of iTunes going to the cloud is that you won’t have access to your library from your computer alone. All the music, videos, movies, and other stuff that you purchased from the iTunes store would not be stored onto your computer if iTunes goes to the cloud. If iTunes were to shut down, all the money you put into buying the music and videos would go to waste.

iPad 2.0, believe it’s here already?

A new generation full of surprises is coming to a new destination. The iPad was a hit and many people bought into the idea of a large screen with the capability of an iTouch and many more uses. The iPad can be used for many things such as reading a book without having to squint at a small screen, watching HD movies at your hand, and many more uses that don’t come with an iTouch. Everybody has wondered, when is the new iPad coming out? The so called iPad 2 has been swirling around the cult of the Apple world and rumors have been approaching us. Rumors have said that the iPad is to come in April, but then again, many did say it was suppose to come in December 2010 or January 2011. Neither of these two dates seems true because there has been no huge rumor that makes this true. The new iPad will come with cameras, CDMA, and a faster CPU. It will also be thinner and lighter then the original iPad. If you want to buy an iPad now, I would advise you to hold off on doing so. The new iPad will come with better upgrades and it will be lighter to use. The display will also be a lot better compared to what the iPad has now.

Compare the iPhone 3G and iPhone 4. When you see the phones, the first thing you notice is the design. Then you click the home button, and BAM, the screen resolutions hit you like a hammer. The iPhone 4 makes the iPhone 3G look incredibly low. The iPhone 4’s screen resolution is startling and that is what the iPad 2 is supposed to improve on. The screen resolution may take up more battery life, but I wouldn’t mind giving up battery life for better movies and clearer images from my photo booth. I cannot promise you any price differences. Of course by the time the new iPad comes out, many new tablets will already be out on the market. Apple will need to compete with the price differences and maybe lower their prices a little bit. Rumors have said that the iPad may start at $450.00 but rumors are usually never true. The iPad first started off at $500.00 and the success it has had, it seems no reason for Apple to change the price. It all depends on the competitive market when the iPad comes out. Samsung and RIM have been on top of their game. Researchers have been very impressed by the RIM tablet and have said that it is capable of competing with the iPad. Who will win this race of tablets? How to: The Mac App Store

The Mac App Store is pretty much a marketplace for various apps ranging from games to news. The Mac App Store is very similar to the App Store on the iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad. If you have used the App Store on iOS, you would know what the App Store is like. Many of the apps on the Mac App Store are the same as the apps on the App Store. First of all, you need to get the Mac App Store. How do you get the Mac App Store? The Mac App Store is available for free. You need the software update for Mac computers running Mac OS X v 10.6 or later. Run a Software Update and the Mac App Store should come with Mac OS X Version 10.6.6.

After you update your Mac and restart it, the Mac App Store icon should appear on your Dock. Click the icon labeled App Store to open it. When it is opened, you will see the main page for the Mac App Store. You can see New and Noteworthy apps such as Angry Birds. On the right side, you can see Quick Links such as Sign In and Account. The main page is a good place to look for the hottest and more popular apps. If you want to buy or download an app, you need to sign in or make an account. You can click Sign In under the Quick Link buttons on the main page or click the Sign In button under the Store button on the top left of your computer screen. After you make an account and sign in, you can buy and download apps. If the app is free, click the blue Free button to download it. If the app is paid, click the blue Buy button with the Price Tag on it. After clicking it, the blue button should say Installing. After it is installed, it will say Installed. The app should now be added to your Dock. To see the apps that you have purchased, you can click the Purchases button on the top.

If there are updates, you can click the Updates button on the top. You can click the grey Update button for each individual app or click the grey Update All button on the top right of the page.

How to Sync Your iPhone or iPod Touch Wirelessly with your Mac

A myriad amount of people wonder, is it possible to sync my iPhone wirelessly with my Mac? If so, how can I? Well, the answer to the question is “Yes and No”, what I mean by “Yes and No” is it is possible to sync your iPhone wirelessly with your Mac, but you need have your iPhone jailbroken. To learn more about jailbreaking, read our “What is Jailbreaking?” article here.
So, now that I have briefly discussed about syncing your iPhone wirelessly, how do I do it? Well, let’s get started!

Prerequisites:
– 10 minutes of your time
– Jaibroken iOS Device (iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad)
– Backup of your iOS Device
– iTunes closed
– Download and install the required application for your Operating System (here)

Let’s begin

On your iOS device, launch Cydia and press the “Search” tab. In the “Search” tab, type in “Wi-Fi Sync” and select the option. Purchase the app from Cydia and get ready to sync.

Time to Pair

Now that the Wi-Fi Sync app has been downloaded, make sure the Wi-Fi Sync app is launched on your Mac (It should be located on the Menu Bar of the Mac). Then on your iOS Device, launch the Wi-Fi Sync app and it will search for your computer. Your computer should prompt you asking if you would like to pair with your device. Select “Yes” and also select “Yes” on the iOS Device. Now, you will be ready to sync!

Syncing Time

It’s time to launch iTunes, if it’s not open, go ahead and fire up iTunes. The syncing process should now commence. Be prepared to be amazed to see your iDevice and iTunes to be “Sync in Progress.” Do not exit the app! After the sync has completed, you may exit the app.

Finish Line

The pairing process was a onetime setup requirement. From now on, just launch the Wi-Fi Sync app and iTunes and the syncing should start.

Cool! A Mac App Store!

If you ever had an iPad, iPod touch, or iPhone, you would know what the App Store is. Now there is going to be an App Store for Macs, called the Mac App Store. It is coming January 6, 2011. The Mac App Store is a basically a marketplace for various Mac apps. You can look at the Mac apps through different categories. You can also use the search box on the top right to quickly search for the app you are looking for. When looking at app, you can look at the developer description, user reviews, and screenshots. If you decide that you want the app, just click to buy it. The Mac App Store allows you to download and install apps easily. You just need to type in your iTunes password to purchase and download apps. The app you decide to download and install goes directly to your Dock. If you bought the app, you can easily download it on every Mac that you use so you don’t have to buy the app for each Mac you own. You can also update your apps one at a time or all at once. The Mac App Store always keeps track of your apps and will inform you when an update is available to keep your apps up to date.

Apple also has a program called the Mac Developer Program. It costs $99/year to enroll in the program that allows you to distribute Mac apps on the Mac App Store. The program also helps you develop your apps. Apple is confident that the Mac App Store will be just as successful as the iOS App Store. What do you think?
