Using just a Mac-Mini and a few custom scripts, a former Apple Store employee has created his own version of J.A.R.V.I.S, the virtual butler from Iron Man. His version, called Project Jarvis, may not be any use in a flying suit of armor, but it’s still pretty cool. He can remotely control the lights and appliances in his apartment, get the traffic conditions for his location, listen in on his apartment and be up to date on the latest news, facebook notifications and even the weather all through Twitter, Instant messaging, and voice.
If you want to see videos of Project Jarvis in action, go to its official site, www.projectjarvis.com, or check it out on theĀ Boston Globe.
